Zaymahlee is an American musician, songwriter, producer, audio engineer, live sound engineer, and entrepreneur who currently lives in Nashville, TN. She was born and raised in the small town of Sherrills Ford, NC but her family originates from West Virginia. Zaymahlee comes from very humble beginnings and some heartbreaking circumstances, which is why she loves sharing her story so much. She is a major advocate for dreaming big and loving big! She lives her life based on her faith in God and credits all her successes to that dedication. Zaymahlee has been playing the piano since she was about 10 years old when she began classical lessons, and started writing  soon after around the age of 13. She says "It began as a way to cope with my emotions and traumas, and now I want to share that with others!"

She began her journey as an audio engineer in 2013 when she went to Appalachian State University where she studdied under the Music Industry Studies Major with a concentration in Recording and Production. While she learned a lot about engineering during her time there, her passion for producing was what she really gained from the experience. After leaving school due to financial and emotional struggles, she moved to Wilmington, NC where she supported herself gigging around in the local bars for a year. There is where found her passion for performing her original music. After that year in 2016 she decided to fully commit to a professional career in music and moved to Nashville, TN. She is currently a live sound Engineer at the legendary  B.B King's Blues Club in Nashville, TN, where she gets to work with musicians everyday who have played with all the "Greats." She released her Nashville debut, pop-rock, EP "Cotton Candy Dream" with engineer and co-producer Chris Resovsky (recorded at Castle Recording Studios in Franklin, TN) on September,6th  2019. After Losing momentum through 2020 and experiencing many life changes, Zaymahlee was unfortunately never able to tour her first EP. While continuing her career as a live sound engineer she has quietly been working on recording, producing, writing, mixing and mastering her first full length album Last Sad Girl Season all on her own. Zaymahlee says "Completing my first album on my own in my home studio was never the plan, but when life gives you lemons you throw paint on them and make it art. I set myself free with this album and hope I hope it can do the same for others."
